Who is responsible

Growthlife is written and run by Hervé Onanga Kingbo from Seoul, South Korea. It is published under the name Kingbo Holdings OÜ, an Estonian company to be formed in 2027. Until that company is registered, Hervé Onanga Kingbo is personally responsible for this site.

What we collect, and why

  • Your email address, when you join the Monday brief or the free five lessons. It is kept in our database, with a note of which form you used, so that we can send what you asked for.
  • Your name, email, phone number if you give it, and message, when you use the contact, speaking, coaching or services forms. They are saved on the site and sent to our inbox so that we can answer you.
  • A payment record, when you pay for a course or a session. PayPal handles the payment. We receive your name, your email, the amount and the date. We never see or store your card number.
  • Technical records. Our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs, such as the internet address and the page requested, to keep the site running and secure.

Cookies and tracking

The site sets a sign-in cookie only for its own editor. We do not use advertising cookies or analytics trackers.

Who else handles your information

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising. A few services act for us so that the site can work:

  • Vercel hosts the site.
  • Our database provider stores the email list and the messages.
  • FormSubmit delivers form messages to our inbox.
  • PayPal processes payments.
  • Google Fonts supplies the typefaces, so your browser contacts Google when a page loads.

These services may process information outside your own country, including in the United States.

Books are sold by Amazon and the research file by Payhip. When you follow those links, or links to Substack, YouTube and other platforms, their own privacy rules apply.

How long we keep it

  • Your email address stays on the list until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it.
  • Messages are kept for as long as needed to answer you and to keep a record of the request.
  • Payment records are kept for as long as accounting rules require.

Your choices

You may ask to see the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and you may ask us to stop writing to you at any time. Write through the contact page and we will answer within thirty days.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your national data-protection authority.

Children

Growthlife is written for adults. Please do not use the forms if you are under eighteen.
